Classes as usual. swept and dusted my room. Went to South Natick to the meeting of the Saturday Night Club - we introduced temperance work there. all but two of those present signed the pledge. Miss Cooley, Miss Lane, May Merian, Miss Joy and Miss Newell went over - all of us in a two seated carriage with a driver. We had a good, successful time.

Sunday Dec. 9
Cloudy - very tired. Bishop Paddock preached in the A.M. about Paul and Silas in the prison at Philipps. Enjoyed the service very much - he read both the Litany and the Communion Service.

Slept mostly in the afternoon. went to Chas. River Village in the evening. A missionary from Ind1a, Mr. Winslow, is here with his wife and 4 children. There was missionary meeting this evening both here and at C.R.V. Mrs Fisher went over.
