Wednesday May 14
Cold and rainy in A.M. Clear in P.M. Classes as usual. Went rowing a little while in afternoon, and took Eddy Washington with me. Studied Bible - Miss Oldham came down to talk with me about Miss Griffith's work in Chemistry - Experiments were very well today. Teachers' prayermeeting was led by Miss Tuttle. Mr. Gunslaulus talked wiyh Miss Foote's section about the Atonement - I mended my Jersey and a pair of stockings.

Thursday May 15
A bright day, with one shower between 5 and 6 P.M. Classes as usual. saw Miss Marsh and Miss Walker. Slept more or less all the afternoon - Prayermeeting at College was led by Miss Corwan. Studied Bible lesson some.

Great Failures in New York.

Friday May 16
Bright weather, with some clouds, but no rain - classes as usual. Went to parlor to see Mr. Morse exhibit the internal mechanism of some throats - from 6:15 to 7. Prayermeeting in village. Mr. and Miss Rodman walked up with me thereafter. Studied Bible.

Saturday May 17
Remarkable weather. several rainstorms and one hail storm, with much warm bright sunshine. Music less and classes as usual. Studied the Psalms Bible study meeting at 7. Subject. The Ideas of the Jews about a Future Life. Missionary Bazaar in the evening - Art Gallery, Cakes, Coffee and Lemonade. Studied until 10:50. No letters.

Sunday May 18
Beautiful day - Church S.S. and Y.C.C. Meeting in Village and Section prayermeeting at W.C. All these I attended. Read som in Life of Mrs. Prentiss and some in the Bible. Wrote a pathetic postal home.
