User-Contributed Transcription experiments, generally speaking, went well. Bible Class at 2:20, was a Geography lesson, on Palestine, and went off tolerably well. It has been rather a hard day. Read Tribune in evening - wrote to Annie, Miss Driggs came in for a little while - Had postal from Flo this evening.

Wednesday Jan. 23
Quite warm. No classes in A.M. Marion Marsh & I did Domestic work all the morning, making Cl water, cutting up test papers, and false gold leaf - +c. +c. Went to walk with Solomon John in P.M. Casius Cassius and Cassius Caius came down here for a little while - Teacher's prayermeeting was omitted. went to Prof. Wilkinson's lecture on Milton's Versification. Aruelia Hall and Nellie Pendleton came in after supper. Cora Rhodes came in before supper. I did not get up to breakfast this morning.

Thursday Jan. 24
January thaw - Studied Bible - taught classes at 9:50 & 11:45 - went to Library in village in afternoon with C.C. and C.C. but found that College people could not take books there. it was terrible walking. Prayermeeting was unusually good tonight led by Miss Foote - subject Joyous Service. went to see Miss Munger after dinner. Letter from Pater - Circular from Agency of Foreign Travel.

Friday -
Took lunch at Stone Hall. taught classes as usual. In Bible Class, just began to consider [Ralab?]. Corrected Note Books after Bible Class. Miss Driggs and I went to prayermeeting in the village - Mr. Rodman spoke, not very acceptably to us. the roads are very rough and slippery. Letter from no one. only Paper, which Miss Hall, Miss Pendleton & I attempted to read after
