User-Contributed Transcription Wed. 25 Called on Salvation Army captain & Cadet. Ethel, Harl & I went to Aunt Mollie's to tea. Annie & Harry came over for a little while in the evening. Mrs. Jones was there - came yesterday.
Thurs. 26 Pressed green dress & black silk. Prayer meeting led by Mr. Ely. Uncle Herbert & Aung Jennie here all day.
Fri. 27 Went with Annie Rick to Lake to see the Shaufflers - started about 1:30 - very hot - stopped to see Lou Day. Went in bathing & met most of the family in the water. Were persuaded to stay all night. A fine "sing" in the evening. Prof. & Mrs. Chamberlain, Mr. & Mrs. Drane & the Schaufflers.
St. 28 Started for home about 9:30. Very hot again. Reached house just before a heavy rain. Went over to Aunt Mollie's in P.M. to see Lucy, Ede & Flo etc. Went also to Library. Flowers for church in P.M. - then Salvation Army meeting. in margin: Letter from Miss Fuller.
Sun. 29 Mr. Williams preached in A.M. Keep yourselves in the love of God S.S. Read with children in afternoon - very heavy
