Thurs. 29 Cooler weather. Note from Mrs. Fuller - wrote to her. also to Pater, Miss Eaton and Jessie Closson - very brief letters. Went to village after dinner with Miss Geleston - Christian Association meeting this evening.

Friday 30 Went to Simpson after breakfast, to see Miss Scudder, also Caisius Caius, who is in bed today. Liquefaction of SO2 at 10:55. Walked toward Waban with MIss Howes after Bible class - Brief birthday letter from Annie. May basket on doorknob, I think from Miss Tinker.

Sat. May 1 Autocrat of Breakfast Table, Holmes' Poems,volume of Carlyle & Hawthorne, birthday poem fr. Susie Hawkes. Letters fr. Harl & Ethel. Took 5:53 train to Worcester, where Uncle George met me.

May 2 Beautiful day - Church - S.S. & Miss. meeting. Went to walk in the lane with Harry in afternoon. Communion Service at 1:30 - Florence joined the church.
