for Miss Glidden, wrote to John and to Susie- found letter from Annie and Normal Lesson from Mr. Denning - Memorial Service anniversary of Mr. Durant's death. Miss Freeman spoke-about Mr. Durant. Dr. Webb was present and made brief remarks.

Tues. 6 Classes as usual. Faculty meeting in evening, at wh. I made bold to speak of the time of section meetings, all myself. Wrote to Will Metcalf.

Wed 7 Worked in Lab. nearly all day. Classes at 9-9:50 & 11:45

Thurs 8 After my class, made NH4SH, gave out unknowns & did other laboratory work till late in P. M.

Fri. 9 Christian Association meeting last night- Today after Bible, went to village & engaged a seat in church, for Miss Morgan, Miss Cooley and myself- Read "Tinted Venus" with Miss Hours & sewed one window cushion this evening. Made Bible topics. Went to see Ada Ayer.
