Rain at intervals. Went to Dana Hall after dinner with Miss Patterson to call on Miss Ayres and obtain from Katherine the banner of 80. Assisted in putting a red tent around our class tree, with "stars and stripes" waving above it, and banner of '80 behind. Miss Kendall came down with me and staid all night -

Friday June.
Tree Day - Ivy planting by Juniors and Senior Reception in the evening - icecream for dinner and again at the reception. A male quartet furnished music at the reception. Mr Babcock being first Basso. Freshman appeared at Tree Day Exercises in white baby dresses, with little white bonnets, and daisy parasols.

Saturday.
Letter from Annie at night. R.R.I.G.S. considered the Russians and the Turkeys at 10:40 A.M. A.I.H. being teacher. M. Marsh absent in spirit though present bodily. Went in P.M. to Auburndale, where I saw Lasell Seminary, and rode with Mr. and Mrs Waters through Fenton Upper Falls, Highlands, Centre, Concer, Wille & West Newton, not to mention Auburndale itself - returned at 7:13 & mended hose in evening. Miss Chandler & Miss Cummings called - went to Dr. Moshur's lecture at one P.M.

Sunday
Church in A.M. did not stay to Sunday School - read in afternoon, also slept & meditated - Finished "A Modern Sustance" - Dora Wells spent afternoon at Madan - Alice Dow & May Ellis went with me to Missionary Meetings in the village this P.M. beautiful weather, wrote letter home.

Monday. June 4. Wrote to Pater and Jack. Went to W.C. in A.M. saw Miss Freeman about rooms for next year, paid debts, saw Mrs Williams. Came down here again and went to bed, where I received a call from Molly Bingham - sent to supper, but very early to bed. mosquitoes
