Classes as usual. R.R.I.G.S. at 4 oclock on China, India and Japan. saw Dr. Jones about rooms. Call from Mr and Mrs Cornan, with whom I went up to Huntervill's to see the azaleas. Faculty Meeting at 8, lasting till 10. Dr. Mosher lectured at 7:30, on resuscitation of dro[?]ed person, Eunia being the subject.

Wednesday. 6.
Very warm weather, and some rain - Promenade Concert in evening, given by Juniors to Seniors and Faculty - rather a bore to those who had no outside friends - [?] looked very pretty, but it was too nearly rainy for such of a La[?] party.

Thursday.
Came down early from W.C. and went to sleep or at least, to doze, until nearly di[?] -  Went in evening to Dana Hall to return banner to Katherine - it rained suddenly very hard, and I came home in the coach, after long and varied journeyings - Still very warm.

Friday. 8.
lasses. R.R.I.G.S. in P[?] on Rest of Asia. Pupil's concert in evening, some of it good.

Saturday.
Class at 9:50/ Took Chemistry students through gashouse from 10:40-11:30 - very hot. Went down to Auburndale on 12:15 train. played with children +c in P[?] - went rowing on the Charles in evening.

Sunday
In Auburndale - very warm. looked like rain, but did not rain - went to church at 10:45 and at 5. Cousin Henry Metcalf showed me his interesting old books. took a walk on river bank with Mrs Metcaf and Miss Hocum in evening.

Wednesday 11.
Came from Auburndale on 10:38 train. met girls, and came to Natick to have tintype taken - Maban Cottage Family group - it is very bad indeed. The [?]looked for R.R.I.G.S. picnic could not be said to be a success. I missed the others at Natick, and we
