Thursday
Did not get up to breakfast, rather lazy, read & knitted some. taught two classes - assisted confused and muddled girls - studied Bible lesson. C.C., C.C. & I tried to go to Newton to hear Butter, but missed the train - came back, stopping at the grocery store to purchase some "F", & also obtain some information from a kind man about political meetings. and had an "F" meeting. Studied Bible, not vigorously but talking with Hattie Tuttle, in the evening. Mrs Thayer Miller, of Cinn. spoke at the prayermeting, on Y.W.C.A.'s, especially in colleges. I am sorry I could not hear her, perhaps should rather say, sorry, I did not hear her.

Friday Oct. 26 Chemistry examination at 1:30. Bible Class as usual asked some hard questions. Letter from Boston Advertiser man, enclosing printed statement of Republican meetings. "F" meeting for a short time after Geology Lecture. corrected papers.

Saturday Oct. 27
Examination at 9:59 and 11:45, brushed up and dusted room - prepared Bible topics. corrected papers. C.C., C.C. and I went to Republican meeting at Wellesley Hills in the evening, where we heard E.P. Broms, the counsel for the defense in the Tewksbury investigation and the Hon. Harry I. Shepard - very interesting, and especially a lark for us. Postal from Uncle George - Letters from Pater, Ethel and Annie.
