User-Contributed Transcription Finished yesterday's examination papers of 9 oclock class. very poor. Table came up after silent time. Read story of a Short Life. Went to Wellesley Library with Simon after dinner - Dr. Abbott spoke at 4 - Mended stockings.
Sun. 6 Gray sky all day. Went to church & Sunday School in Village. Taught Mr. Dana's class - went to Dr. Abbott's Bible Meeting here in evening - subject - Ps. 103.
Mon. 7 Went to Boston at 11:07 & found there were no Sam Jones' meetings. Went into the Holiness Meeting at Wesleyan Hall to pass away the time. Prof. Drown's lecture in the evening. introduced ourselves to him afterwards with fear & trembling - he was very pleasant - corrected papers of 9 oclock class -
Tues. 8 Meeting of Academic Council in evening - classes as usual -
Wed. 9 Chlorine class at 4. all somewhat choked. Board of Visitors here today - Eliza-
