Wed. 10 Rainy, foggy, cloudy - no mountains - finished children of Gebeon in A.M. Bowled in P.M. Letter from home, wh. made me almost decide to go there at once - Mrs. Typer & Miss Schneider called here in P.M.
Thurs. 11 Took morning stage to Campton Village, after much hesitation & very brief decision - reached Boston at 5 P.M. trunk transferred. Stowell's closed, could not get watch - 6:25 train to Wellesley - stayed at Freeman's Cottage - Mrs Ramsom & Miss Kendall there with Miss Denison - Mr Kendall spent the evening there.
Fri. 12 Went on lake for lilies with Emily Clark - went to Cottage St. House for some things, but had wrong keys & could not get in - called at Miss Winsors - took 12:18 train to Boston - had lunch - got watch - bought lunch for journey - took 3 oclock express with Miss Hope Narey - Section 4. Wagner Vestibule car Auburn - went to bed early.
Sat. 13 Train on time - left Miss Narey at Boston, she going to Chautauqua - Home at 12 oclock or so - surprised the family at dinner - John in hayfield - A & A here -
