User-Contributed Transcription Friday June 28 Mr. Bigelow did not come to move my things. so I did not get off till 1:55. had dinner at College, went to Nahaut by Eastern R.R. & barge from Lyme. Engaged room at Mr [?Gohsor's] & board at Hood College Hotel. Went out on walks for a little in evening. Very warm.
Sat. 29 Another hot day - Breakfast at 7:30. went tramping - back at 9:30 & started again with Mrs Jones - went around to sporting [?hour].
Out again in P.M. found swallows' carr. - Natural bridges +c -
Sun. 30 Mrs Jones in bed nearly all day cold worse - went to church in A.M. - heard Dr. A.P.P. Peabody "What think you of Christ? Whose son is he?" Very good & not Unitarian. Read Children of Gibeon in afternoon - Mrs Jones & I went to M.E. church in evening - Bible Reading - Mr Mansell - Very warm still -
Monday July 1 Went through Mr Lodge's place 7 along the cliff with Mrs Jones - Took boat at 11 for Boston & 1:30 train to Wellesley - went to College & later, over to Mrs Osberg's - Mr. Kendall here - C.C.P. came over in the evening & they sang - Letter fr. Will & one fr. John
Tuesday July 2 warm. cloudy. some showers. Expected Will, Ede +c all day -
