Sun. 14 Very warm till evening, when rain & coolness. Rev. J.M.P.M. preached in our church. we all went to hear - S.S. taught Mr. Benton's class of [?tearing] boys.  Y.P.S.C.E. miss. meeting in evening, wh. Ethel led. Nette, Harl, Lizzie DeWitt & I went to Baptist Ch - afterwards - John's text - "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" short sermon - very good.
Monday July 15 Ethel & I went downtown to Library +c in P.M. stopped at Aunt Anna's a few minutes. Mr Parker came to see me while I was gone, John went to Cleveland today to meet Carrie.
Tues. 16 S.S. Picnic - Ethel, Nette & I went and almost missed the train - Linwood Park, Vermillion - went bathing twice - walked on beach with Uncle Eliab, Mr. Samuel Ely, +c. Mr. Parker called again today while I was gone. John & Carrie came about noon - Harl drove over in evening with the three Stanleys' - John & Carrie went back to Oberlin with him. Mary Stanley spent the night here.
Wed. 17 Mary Stanley took early train to Cleveland. John & Carrie at Oberlin Cleveland & Wakeman today. Mr Parker came this morning, while I was gone
