Thurs. Aug. 23 Went home on 9:15 train. Miss Shafer being on same train. Prayermeeting in evening - Sent letter to Miss Eaton. Letter from C.F.R. Letter from Annie Reynolds -
Fri. 24 Made calls in P.M. Mr. Geo. Ely - Mrs. Leonard, Mrs. Ed Mauter, Mrs. Bowman - tried to call in evening on Lucy Van Warnier - Mr. & Mrs John Leadingham arrive at Uncle Charles'.
Sat. 25 Letter from M. Marsh - went in afternoon to Uncle Eliab's, & read Hypatia with Edith and Will - there for supper. In evening, we all (youngers) went to train to meet, first Harl, then John.
Sun. 26 Church, S.S. class - john & I went with Mr Benton to Lake Avenue in evening - Mr. Williams preached in A.M. on "the cloud of witnesses" Heb. 12:1. Read aloud "Ten times On is Ten," in afternoon.
Mon. 27 John unpacking - Read Hypatia again in P.M. came home to supper -
Tues. 28 stayed in bed till after dinner - Went with John & the mither to Aung Anna's to supper - Hattie Gaylord & her two youngest children are there, home about 7:30 -
