Dear Anna
Your letter came last night.
The valise will be sent this P.M. I presume.
Is not forenoon better time to sit for pictures than P.M.?
We had a letter from Marion this week. I think it was after you left.
My advice to all puzzled for a "subject" is the same as to all. Look over all the compositions, themes, essays you ever wrote. Pick out the one you liked best, or were most interested in. Take that same subject. Study it up, write on it with all your present wisdom, learning, increased breadth & depth of thought.
We are all quite well. This pleasant weather puts the little folks out of doors and makes them well and strong.
I went out to Cleveland, or rather to Newberry yesterday, hardly stopped at Cleveland at all just ran down to Brooks office and saw him a minute.
Sincerely Father
