Sir,
Your letter of the 4th, has been received.
Enclosed you will find Forty dollars which please credit to the balance of my account with Bowdoin College, and send a receipt.
I find among my papers my Term Bill for the Spring Term of 1847. As I cannot obtain the rest, I may as well enclose this one to you.
In it please notice the charge for "repairs" mentioned in your letter.
