About sick in A.M. Invited to Mr. Colby's to tea - father, mother, self & children three
Mrs. Tennatt there - son at West Point. very talkative lady & sensible - not highly educated.
Milo. Rain A.M. Fair P.M.
Isaac reached Milo about 9.00, very cold evening. All abed. Ate little supper & went to bed, and slept till 7 A.M. in spite of toothache. It rained about all the A.M. Charles had 15 loads of hay & grain cut, but went yesterday to Fremont Convention at Dover with [[?]]. James to Charles Hotchkins who work for him. Crops appear pretty good. The field of corn beginning to harden
Charles went to Mills to get Mary Kittredge to [[?]] [[?]] & wagon
12 P.M. Started for Bangor. Charles & Albina went [[?]] (to Mill) by New Bridge, which is open & free, being in litigation between Town, Contractor, [[?}]
Through [[?]]eville & the [[?]] very bad to Lagrange & thence at good road, Bangor at 8 P.M. Supper done & stopped at Eliab's
