July 29 1856
Tuesday. Hot. Shower. Dunbarton
Forenoon about as warm as ever, shower at noon and all after noon, but amounting to not much rain
Mary sick & angry, and went home. George to P.O.
Isaac at home all day

July 30th
Wednesday. Cloudy warm
George down to E. Kimball's fishing on pond. Isaac at house all day; except up to Col. Stinsons for Butter [[?]] + 2 + 5 lbs.
Mrs Brown & Agnes here after tea.

July 31
Thursday. Cloudy warm
George came home with 5 small fishes. Ironing. George to P.O.
Miss Holmes called. G. J. & L. for currants at Capt. Whipples
Antoinette called upon Mary Stinson

August 1st
Friday. Another foggy morning but fair & warm after 10 oclock
To Mr Burnhams, settlement for haying - got his horse & waggon
Went after Asenath Hoyt, at her father found she was away at the Melvin's Bickford Farm in Hopkinton. Went there 1 P.M. D.
Back to Hoits at 4 1/4 P.M. S. 6 1/4 arrived home at 8 1/4 P.M.
Misses Colby called P.M. G.J. & L. for Blueberries

August 2d
Saturday. Foggy morning. warm
At home all day. Work in garden some
Picking Peas, Beans & P[[?]]ets for dinner
To P.O. Two letters from Bangor 30 & 31 July Lucy worse
