Friday. Cloudy. warmer. Snow at night. Mr. Crandall came found salt had done no good. Examined and found the pipe frozen the whole length. I heated water and he poured it on boiling hot and cleaned the pipe at once but the pump wouldn't work. found a leak in a bad place, soldered it with much pains and now we have our water again. Paid $1.00 to Mr. Crandall. Wrote & mailed to Mallin. Anna called in A.M. I called there after school. No letter to day.
