Monday. rainy & cold.
Capt Whipple here about an hour to see uncle & aunt. Asenath went for milk - told Mr Safford's people  we would take all at Capt W's hear after. Uncle & aunt left for concord about 11 o'c. Cousin Samuel came just after supper
Finished writing to Isaac - Mrs. Anderson came. Mailed to Isaac at Concord
Received from Isaac at Bangor
Received from Mr Keyes, DuQuoin

Down town part of the day
Letter to Dunbarton & to R.B. Mason

27 May.
Tuesday. Fair & warm.
Father went to Concord and I went with him leaving Asenath nothing to do but take care of babies. Mrs Anderson to help in A.M.
Concord at nine - shopping till 1/2 past two - then to Mr. Smarts, & Esq. Kimballs to dinner - (Mrs Amos Hadley died Sabbath eve.)
Home after dinner - got carriage for babies at $2.50. Found babies nicely.

9 A.M. Got Mrs Chalmer's Buggy, carried Anna & Harriet Ely to go shopping. Mayo too. Picture frames. Nettie's picture
11 Got Smith's Rockaway & carried Lucy to Ride
Better
12. Down Town after shoppers. 1 P.M. Brought them house
P.M. Work in garden. Sowed about 40 varieties of flower seeds.
Eve. Mailed to Dunbarton. Letter from Dunbarton to Mother
