Isaac down to P.O. Then writing &c. Dining Room Cleaning
Wrote to George.
P.M. Isaac up to Lucy's with Antoinette & Mayo
Samuel's trees had arrived. Set out one maple & 3 elms in sheet and two maples on south line in place of those dead
Also one mountain ash

May 12
Saturday. Bangor. Fair
Isaac & Mayo up to Lucy's immediately after Breakfast
Antoinette rode up before noon. All staid till near night
Set out cluster of evergreens. Work in flower garden &c.
Planted flower seeds, Pinks &c.
[[?]] Kitchen garden Lettuce & Cress & Nasturtium.
Lucy unwell. Pain in Chest, difficulty in swallowing &c. has been coming on for a fortnight or more, today worse and she could hardly eat at all.
Eve, went down town with Eliab
Coat made at J.B. Wheelwrights, Cashmere $12.00
With Eliab to Burrills where he had a pair of slippers spoiled.
He was inclined to bless them very deservedly.
Lucy's Ring marked [[?]] 25
Store, many customers &c. No one there but Martin & he could not start the gas - all in the dark
