Thursday - Bangor - warm but cloudy and very wet, bad travelling.
At home in A.M. I went down town shopping for mother & Lucy in P.M. and stopped at Eliab's till about five - Isaac rode with Samuel to Hampden in search of apples. Isaac at Eliab's till about five. Isaac rode with Sammel to Hampden in search of apples. Isaac at Eliab's [[?}} supper
Read Ruskin again in Eve. Letter from Anne came to Maria which we all read. [[got Tom Cod.?}}
At Bald Hill Cove Hampden saw smelt nets & processes; One man 250 doz that day.
Feb 16
Friday. Bangor. Rainy all day. warm. Letter came from Dunbarton. all well. at home. Read "Christian Year" {Keble}.
Fitted with great fear a dress for mother but it seems to be right now it is accomplished
Isaac home all day caring for babies and reading
Feb 17.
Saturday. Bangor. At home in A.M. sewing and reading Joanna Baillie's Works. Isaac down town and dinner at Eliab's. Lucy went to ride and thereafter Isaac took me & little Mayo all about the city. then took his mother to ride and then took the horse to Bangor house. James [[?]] arrived about four. walked most of the way four miles
brought letter from his mother and from Charles.
Feb 18
Sabbath. Bangor. rather stormy. I went to meeting and I went with him in A.M.
Isaac went to First Parish in P.M. with Samuel Harlow. I read the "Dark River" & Isaac read History of Reformation in evening
