Brownville. Wednesday. Fair & warm.
Letters from Isaac, two. July 2 & July 4.
One from Mother also - all good -
I wrote to Isaac to Elyria - too late to send another & St Paul (sorry am I)
Mayo came near tipping over the table with five loaves of brown bread in iron pans directly onto his own little self. Mother & I were both by and caught the table after the loaves began to slide.
Almeda baking.
Letter from Lucy - Eliab reached Bangor about four.

Fair & warm
John Furber's. John has a large farm, bought off his father, not yet paid for, part of Warren Furber's sold to Old man.
Some considerable of it is Old & not so productive as the new.
Over to N[[?]]i's, found Alfred Holman, walked with him over his Farm, then across Lyford's to look at the Murphy place said to be for sale at $600.00 then down to Lake for swim & up to Warren's
Pitched a load of hay & blistered my hands.
Staid there till evening. Then to Theodore's. late
A little rain in evening & sudden change of weather
