Not mucha a place. stopped at the
first Tavern. After a while walked to
the springs, down through the strug-
gling village, perhaps half a mile
to a bridge across Indian Creek
a branch of White River. Then half
a mile into the woods brought
me to the New Spring. A little Bath
house is built in the woods there.
Several men at work digging
out the spring, going to put in
stone &e, &e. Only hollow logs
[["gums"]] there now. Water not
very bad taste, some sulphury.
Over across, almost directly to-
wards Town I found the Big Spring
Trinity Spring I believe they call
it Dr. Dunn's.
