I do not know what Ethel is to do We cannot tell til we consult Marion.Nette thinks Miss Phelps has not the time to help much. How is it? Does she do much and do it decently? Do not take the trouble to answer these questions unless you want to. I am perhaps saucy to ask them. I presume you could get Rachel Smith if you want her.You know her disagreeable points.Her only recommendation is cleanliness. That counts, but if you could get one other girl I think you would be more comfortable. I forgot Rachel is also careful about washing. She is really economical. I do not want to make you worry but I do want you to have enough help so that you will not kill yourself. I suppose Miss Phelps could get another place.
