User-Contributed Transcription improving in health. Mother thinks she knows somewhat how to sympathize with him -The afternoon after you left here, my brother and I, very suddenly decided to go to Epsom and Barnstead, to visit an uncle at E - and a school mate of mine, at the latter place. We left home about two o'clock, and arrived at uncle's residence, at six in the evening. At three o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, we started for Barnstead, where we found ourselves after a pleasant ride of about 15 miles - Brother Ge intended to return home Thursday, and leave me to come by stage, but the storm prevented his returning until Friday and in consequence of this, I thought it better for me to come home with him, - So we were both back again Friday night. We had long contemplated this little journey, and have finally accomplished it. My father was once settled in Epsom, and it is my native place.Since I came home, I have been rather more busy than usual, in household matters. Mother and I are having considerable to do for brother, before he goes away, which will be in a week or two. - Geo. has been papering and whitewashing the room we live in, and I helped him about it, all I could. We are just nicely through with it.
