User-Contributed Transcription from Bow here helping Mother. They call her girls good help, and very pleasant, Give her $1,00 per week. She is fifty years old. I must tell you a little about my journey. O you can hardly imagine how dusty it was from Cleveland to Erie. We could have no window up and it was so close that it made me sick (sick headache). But from Erie to Buffalo it rained finally, and I felt better at once. We left Buffalo about six oclock. Got into Albany about five. Had rain about all night. Slept some. Left Albany 5.30, reached Springfield, 10.15 Thursday A.M. Had just time to get a cup of coffee, and crackers, say good by to my company and get my seat in cars for Worcester.Mrs. Nelson's brother met her at the depot, and Mrs. Doolittle and Rev E. went by carraige to Suffield Coun.
