User-Contributed Transcription idea of returning there is rather pleasant than otherwise. Though I should not feel entirely sure that the grim-visaged Ague would not find me out and make me tremble again. I believe I am inclined to think, with you, that the climate is not so very bad, if proper care be taken to avoid exposure. But it is sometimes very difficult to decide what one may undertake with safety.I think I mentioned in a previous letter that a 'Pastoral Visit" had been appointed. The day and the morning was beautiful - the sky cloudless, but before ten o'clock, the sun was obscured and shown no more though the day - It was exceedingly cod, the snow drifts very deep and in some places almost impassible, and the evening no less - notwithstanding all these unfavorable circumstances, about fifty persons made their way to our little cottage, and we highly enjoyed the interview. The weather had been cold, stormy and unpleasant ever since. We have about three feet of snow on a level and drifts like mountains, while it seems you have had only about half an inch of snow all winter! Could we send you enough for a sleigh ride, we would gladly. We could part with it, without the least
