User-Contributed Transcription and Charlie (Wilder went to school today with Mary) Sweeping and dusting, talking with Mrs. Mussey (H. E.) Gathering tomatoes &c till four o'clock. Then G. carried me round to see Jenny and tell Mr Brooks that I could not keep the S. S. Class, and to the Dr's to ask him what should we do for Sarah. I gave her Quinine twice today, in very small doses, but she threw both up at once. She has had diarrhea for some time she says. Dr said alternative pills she must have. Went to Jenkins & got some. Then home & while Sarah sat the table & George took care of baby I made biscuits for supper. Helped Sarah clear table. Got baby to sleep &c &c and sat down here to write. George writing too. Charles reading newspapers. I have just finished writing home to go with George. A letter from Eliab and one from Hattie Ely to day received by Mrs. S. M. Metcalf,
