Sabbath 6. Feb.Beautiful as every Sabbath has been since we com here- Isaac thinks I can not go out to ((unclear)) I am reading "George D. Boardman"- Have commenced Rev. with the notes - Mr. Stewart here and preached to day & this eve. Evening Mr. Crosby and I alone some time - he talked freely of his love, and his longings to be a christian - I never so much felt my own inability to direct an immortal mind in the strait & narrow way! He asked with tears - what shall I do to be saved - I was afraid to speak lest I tell him some thing I ought not - My heart went to God in prayer that I might know just what to tell him.Wrote three pages to Lucy this eve -
