User-Contributed Transcription I am so glad you are coming right along soon But how can I have Ann go right away again Tis Midnight & very cold I must not stop to write much, but I want to say to you that Joseph ought to have another pr of good warm Blankets you know my old bedclothes are not so good and warm He dont want I should get any but you can tell Eliab & do what you think best - I fyou will get _you_ a pr & bring em with you I will pay for them as fast as I get able
I have put 3 or 4 old comforters on his bed in stead of a mattrass - I intended to make some more but I have not been able to do scarcely any thing since since Ann went away for want of time  I have been so taken up that I have neg lected or forgotton to do or say about the Lounge perhpas we can make it do, this winter it may be we must have Joseph's bed in this room before long _he is very feeble_
I dont think Charles could very well [[?]] a [[?]] he does have a very hard time I'm
