User-Contributed Transcription Stay'd till 3 o clock Wednesday when we went to the Cars & did not leave them except to change Cars till we arrived at Elyria thursday evening about 9 oclock (27 hours from Boston - Isaac paid 2,00 extra for Sleeping Cars for us all from Albany to Cleveland we paid half price for C. & M from Bangor to Boston - Isaac got her along the rest of the way free - they have both been very very good Children & seem to be very happy - Mary had one cry tho not long the night we got here - we were all very tir'd Charlie had a very sore Mouth (canker) almost a week but is very well now He & Mallie gave us some old wool Delaine for Mary a dress which is better than we should have got for herOur whole expense from Bangor to Elyria 23, for me 13 for Charlie (he had lodging Breakfast & dinner at the Quincy house) and 2,50 for Mary lendes? a little
