User-Contributed Transcription 25-2-69 Dear Frank: Thanks 4 letter & 5. As u know i have been in L.A. & surrounding territory several times & soapboxed there 4 several yrs. Many experiences there which i enjoyed & lived in some beautiful homes & had at least 3 different women living w/ me at intervals. Yes, i really did enjoy myself there. N. Western has a very good clinic & they used 2 charge $50 c for an examination. i sent many a comrade there & all were satisfied & benefited from exams. The Cedars of Lebanon Hosp. in L.A. has a very good clinic & u pay according 2 earnings & most people lie & there 4 get free treatment. Considering cost of med. care we r very fortunate here w/r Nat. Health Serv. A law has been passed making abortion free. Yesterday i went 4 my hernia checkup & am gaining weight again. They want 2 put me on a diet. i know i wont stick 2 it so said no. Go back again in 3 mos. 2 acquaintainces [sic] of mine r in hosp. & i visit each every wk. I'm a regular hosp. visitor & cheer the boys up. What has become of Randall last heard of
