I'm happy that Gladys is doing better. It was
sad to see her tired and uncomfortable and I hope
that she continues to mend. I tried to reach Ashby
when we returned but there was no answer and
Alex is still at Lone Pine, so I was unable to share
our trip with either. It will make good September
conversation.
The conference we attended in Ames is an annual
one. Next year's will be in Phoenix and the one
after in St. Louis. I am slated to attend both and
will surely let you know when we come to Missouri
again- if you'll see us. By then the collection
should be in print and we'll have something to
celebrate for certain. Please keep us up to date
on the progress. If you can dictate format, ask to have
it printed- not computerized. It's so much more
