User-Contributed Transcription 8254 S. Drexel Chicago, ILL. 60619 April 9, 1964 Dear Mr. Conroy,   This is a belated expression of thanks to you for your kind, yet insistant [sic] note pertaining to my writing efforts.  One can indeed appreciate the implied suggestion of greater responsibility; particularly is this true of the Afro-American.   Your suggestion shall be taken with the greatest seriousness, and I shall endeavor to write uninhibitedly.   I want to thank you again for your courtesy, and am happy to know that as Mr. Flory told me you are "your chipper self." Best wishes     Mary Mays
