Includes population information for the city of Galena, 1825-1828, including the number of women and free blacks. Includes legend that shows symbols for furnaces, smelting establishments, discoveries of mineral or lead ore, roads, copper, and the "East line of the purchase lately made at Prairie du Chien." Scale 1:111,513.
