Description
Pen-and-ink and outline watercolor (red, green, yellow, brown). Drawn on 25 sheets pasted together, sectioned into 24 panels, and mounted on cloth. Damaged with some loss of detail. Subsequently detached from cloth and mounted on 12 sheets of heavy paper, each 490 x 580 mm.
Summary
Shows North America east of the Mississippi River and south of the Ohio River. References identify 155 Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Cherokee villages. Includes notes on Indian land claims and cessions. Date of compilation, fuller description, and bibliographic references in: Cumming, William Patterson.
