User-Contributed Transcription he tore up my mouth + then started sewing it together again. After that he started talking about problems + solutions + miracles -- all at great cost -- + I began to weep while he kept ringing up the cash register.
I hope you're enjoying the political campaign. I despise Bush for the hypocrisy + lies of his campaign, but I fear that someone has bribed Dukakis + his staff + they're throwing the game. Nevertheless, I've registered to vote even though I will do so in despair. Maybe I can become fond of the phrase "President Bush," but I still find it difficult to like hypocrites even though I've spent much of my life in close proximity to them.
I hope things are going better for you. For me you are one of the best + most important men of my time, certainly one who influenced me, for good or bad, in all I've done since I first met you + you taught me, or tried to teach me, to write something worth reading.
