Dear Jack
I won't even begin to apologize for not answering your letter last spring. I can only say that we did move over the summer and I'm finally getting to the bottom of things. We've also had some problems with our daughter who is very late in her speech development but think we've at last located the right medical center that can help her.
If your offer still holds, I'm sure KYRA (our only one) would greatly enjoy your story of The Fast Sooner Hound.
I was interested to hear of your offer from the University of Conn but can understand why Mobile and not Connecticut "turns you on." It would have been good to get to know you and you might have even gotten to like it here (it usually takes several years).
We're living in Willimantic which is about 10 miles from the University and is known as "Thread City" The American Thread
