Description Verso. Letter from Wanzopeah to President Abraham Lincoln, asking that a member of his tribe, Eli Jebo, that is, Geboe, be discharged from the 12th Kansas Volunteers.  On the verso is a March 4, 1864, endorsement written, signed and dated by Abraham Lincoln, ordering the discharge.
