Dear Mr. Conroy,

Thank you for your careful and kindly criticism of my poems. I am so familiar with them that it is difficult to be objective. You have given me quite a lot to think about. I realize with a shock that if some of them are "obtrusively stereotyped," this could very well be because I also am!
