User-Contributed Transcription can hardly make wages selling them. He is taking a rest most days and waiting for prices to stiffen. Good milk is selling heer at 5 cents a quart, partly because of reduced consumption and partly because the large dealers are trying to break the small ones, at least so the story is.
I have not yet sold any securities and have a few dollars left. Just heard today that the Pick B[[??} Co., is paying interest. Hope it is true. I had not sent my coupons in because they were said to be insolvent and I thought it was no use. Hope the repost is true. It is a matter of $180.00, and if I get it, can get along for about a year without selling anything. today's paper quotes C[??] Preferred at $2 a share which would make $80 for my shares. Furniture mart was $5.00 the last I heard.
Have only seen one motion picture since I wrote you, "One Hour With You", starring Maurice Chevalier and Jeannette Macdonald. It is is a delightful musical comedy. Hope you see it. I depend on chess and radio for most of my entertainment, and have a pleasant time in spite of poverty.

The local papers are full of the Olympics Games, and the streets are decorated in their honor, but I do not care to join the crowds.
