Katharine

I have not yet fully
recovered from the illness that kept
me a weeks at the hospital, so that
I cannot walk to the stenographers
office to dictate a letter in answer
to your most welcome message
received this morning.
Of course you
know that your father spent Sunday
and Monday of the present week
with me. His visit was very opportune
since he did for me a
good many things that I felt unable
to do for myself.
I am dictating this
answer to Miss Anna Hodge, one
of my best readers at the present
time I have these an four ladies
