User-Contributed Transcription not hindered him, he thinks he was told what to do the day before or he never would have done, it was well persuaded who it was he came home to dinner sent his boy to call Jesse, could not find him he went himself hunted the pastures and concluded he would go to the railroad they said he first was? there so he went home and come the next morning he says the stories are all false he never has changed a word with any one but his father about his staying wanted Jesse should go back and stay if he could be contented offered him some priveleges if he would go back but we could not persuade him on any other way than this. I should write to you and have you instruct Edwin what to do and he Edwin would go up fortnight from saturday if he was not contented etch him home. Mr. Bragg wanted he should go home with him if he must leave go as he had ought for it was not only giving the boy a bad name but hi also, feels very bad not to have him tell who should tell such stories, thinks he will be contented when he gets back, if he is not we do not any of us wish him to stay for it may caus him to be unsteady and do worse it has caused many a Tear from all of us, wish you to write Mr. Bragg a pleasant letter for it has caused him trouble if the boy is contented let him stay if not let Edwin get him a good place if you think best. please write as soon as you receive this. Myron has gotte to be quite well excepting his strength which is week. Sarah is going to stay at L. this summer and fall; I received a letter from PK he says he shall be at home the middle of July has been sick with the lung fever wanted to know when you was why you did not come there Lydia went home with M B & Jesse my health is as good as when we left
