Summary Draft of an Indian petition, Apr. 1, 1747, to an unnamed general assembly (probably Massachusetts), written from a fortification called "Number 2 on Connecticut River." This document, which was to be signed by Old Town and three others on "behalf of others," concerns the Indians' participation in the frontier war effort.
