Summary Original ms. of "How the Brigadier rode to Minsk", written by Arthur Conan Doyle at his home "Undershaw" in Hindhead, England, probably around 1902. Text is written in Doyle's usual neat, rounded hand in black ink on foolscap-sized leaves ruled in blue, with his own deletions and additions, including an earlier title--"How Brigadier Gerard broke his parole"--which Doyle crossed out. Ms. signed at end: "Arthur Conan Doyle.  Undershaw. Hindhead."
