Dear Jack Conroy:

you are ruining me Jack -

1 send to Public Library Washington
2  Mrs. G. Gillman  125 W  49th St New York City
3  Mr. Thomas P. Lee   4700 Willow Lane  Chevy Chase, Maryland
4  and one to my address as above.
$5- and you don't know how I am swearing - (I must do it quick)

What became of that "Mulatto" poem I sent you?  I am not a negro lover - (They are a medium) - but I did have a negro poem in November Stratford Mag - and Bozart wants the "Black Hunt" you saw, - but suggested sending to New Republic first -  The Southern editor said, "This poem hits me in the right spot," which a good sign from the South - where many secretly favor lynching I know even to feeling sorry that they are so - etc
