Conn? and H Openshaw) and Ralph Atkinson (who is pastor of a U.P. Church in Ravenswood) went to see Emma Sherman Coolidge, who used to be in the B.L. but went home last summer was married in the fall and lives not far from here. We had a very delightful time. She has a beautiful little flat. She is a very beautiful soprano. Stella Alto, Benj Platt tenor and R. At. bass and they had done good old singing. And sat in her beautiful little dining room for chocolate and cake all which she made herself. In the evening there was a debate in the B.L. Men's Dept. on Annexation of Canada and ladies invited. We three, Stella Bess & I planned to go and laugh and carry on and cut up and have a wild time. When we
