Dear Jack:
Thank you so much for your letter and the expression of how you liked the book. I'm happy that at last its out- People were beginning to think that I was fabricating. Well its the first and I'm proud of it but not satisfied. I want to make one with color pictures. Yes, I saw and read "Slappy Hooper" to several classes and I think that I liked it just as much as the kids did. I enjoyed "The Fast Sooner Hound," too. The kids are arranging a party for the book on April 13 at Art Center. I hope you can come. Jack, please drop me a
