Sabbath Evening, do not let this lie unanswered a great while yours HelenDear Brother, Sarah has left a space for me to fill but I hardly know what to write that will interest you unless it is something about our domestic affairs and I suppose you have lernt about our Territorial and political affairs by Warner and the Newspapers, as Warner is one of the leading political characters of our New Territories, he was speaking in the house reps. - was very popular his pay was six dollars per day, very good pay I think, the Govenor is very much liked, and the Officers of the Territory generaly I believe two of the Judges have bought land in our neighbourhood and will open farms next summer there was a large emigration here last summer and it is thought by those that pretend to know that there will be an emigration to this Territory next summer of ten thousand souls, and I sincerely think that you had better be among the number I might give my reasons but I suppose it of no use
